Our Next Generation Pastor, JD Hardwick, oversees Central Baptist Church’s ministries for children and students and plays a key role in helping the church reach the next generation with the Gospel. He joined the Central Baptist Church staff in January 2024 and has served in full-time ministry since 2020.

JD has a passion for helping children and students develop a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, grow in their faith, and discover God’s purpose for their lives. One of the things he loves most is watching young people move from simply knowing about God to truly knowing Him for themselves and making their faith their own.

He is dedicated to building strong ministries, developing future leaders, and creating environments where children and students can know, love, and follow Jesus. His heart is to partner with families and the church as they work together to disciple the next generation and encourage them to live out Central Baptist Church’s mission to:
