The Summit is a place where students (Grades 6-12) come together to grow closer to God and each other.
At Central Baptist Church, through worship, biblical teaching, small group discussions, special events, camps, and fellowship opportunities, students are encouraged to develop a personal faith that will guide them throughout their lives.
Our goal is to create an environment where students feel welcomed, supported, challenged, and equipped to follow Christ.

We recommend arriving a few minutes early on your first visit so our welcome team can help you get settled and answer any questions you might have.
Purpose
The Summit exists to partner with families in helping students develop a lifelong relationship with Jesus Christ.
We strive to create opportunities for students to:

Key Activities
Throughout the year, our Children & Youth Ministry provides opportunities for children, students, and families to grow spiritually, build relationships, and have fun together.
Weekly Gatherings
Each Wednesday night includes biblical teaching, worship, fellowship, and opportunities for students to connect with one another and grow spiritually.
Small Group Discussions
Students have opportunities to ask questions, discuss Scripture, and apply biblical truth to everyday life in a supportive environment.
Worship
Students gather to worship together and grow in their understanding of who God is and what He is doing in their lives.
Camps & Retreats
Events like Winter Refresh and other retreats provide opportunities for students to step away from everyday distractions and focus on growing closer to Christ.
Fellowship & Special Events
Games, activities, outreach opportunities, and special gatherings help students build meaningful relationships and lasting memories.
Service Opportunities
Students are encouraged to discover their gifts, serve others, and make a difference both inside and outside the church.

The Summit is led by our Next Gen Pastor, JD Hardwick, and assisted by dedicated volunteers and church leaders who are passionate about helping children grow in their faith. These leaders are committed to creating a safe, encouraging, and Christ-centered environment where every child feels welcomed, valued, and loved.

Our student ministry volunteers serve under church leadership and are dedicated to creating an atmosphere where students feel supported, valued, and encouraged.
